Sivan Sadan - Founder & CEO

Sivan has over 15 years of experience in general management, investment banking and venture capital.

Sivan held key positions as part of the management team at Tamir Fishman & Co. She was one of the first people to join the firm and helped build Tamir Fishman into one of the most successful investment banks in Israel.

Sivan acted as Managing Director, Head of corporate finance and Vice President of Business Development of the Tamir Fishman Group. Sivan screened hundreds of companies and worked on some of Israel's most successful financing transactions raising capital on the NASDAQ, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and European stock exchanges, as well as private placements and M&A transactions with mandates from companies such as Precise, Lipman, Verisity, Israel Electric and more.

Sivan served as a Partner at Tamir Fishman Ventures and acted as director at ModemArt (Sold to Agere for $145M).

Sivan also acted as director at Bknowledge Holdings Ltd., an investment company owned by Mr. Zadik Bino.

Between 1993 and 1997 Sivan served as Executive vice president at SIG Industries Ltd., a leading construction equipment supplier in Israel (www.sig.co.il). Sivan was responsible for sales and marketing as well as for the company's quality assurance system. Sivan founded and led SIG's subsidiary in Kiryat Gat as an Intel supplier.

As part of the Or Capital support for the community Sivan is involved in venture philanthropy and serves as a business mentor as part of the social entrepreneur program of the Israel Venture Network. Sivan is a business mentor of the CEO of Israel Energy Forum (IEF), a nonprofit organization with a mission of developing and implementing a sustainable energy policy for Israel (www.energia.org.il).

Sivan holds a B.A with honors in Economics and Management and an MBA (finance) from the Tel Aviv University.

Sivan is married and has 2 children.

She has over 25 years of Senior Management, Board, and Editorial experience in both the Online corporate world and in traditional media in the U.S, UK, Continental Europe, and Israel.

Ms. Maxwell is a senior management advisor & board member for hi-tech and Clean-Tech companies Israel-U.S.-Israel. She is Co-Founder of the Magellan Online Search Guide in 1992, sold successfully to Excite in 1996; and became active in the email and messaging space as president of Israel's Commtouch Software (CTCH:Nasdaq) 1997-2001; She served on the Board of BackWeb (BWEB:Nasdaq) 2003-2005 and was CEO of i-Cognito in Petah Tikva; She has consulted for Apax Partners and Carmel Ventures in Israel assisting their portfolio companies with business development, equity raising, and/or due diligence.

She is a former longtime Film & TV Producer, Director in the UK and US 1975-1991 for both- feature and television production. She is a founder Director of the British Academy of Film & Television Arts - BAFTA-LA. She is the active Chair of the Israel Venture Network (IVN) Leadership Initiative - Social Entrepreneur (SE) Fellowship Program in Israel - now in its 5th year of successful operation with 13 SEs on the ground effecting systemic and positive social change. She is a Governor of the Board of the Peres Center For Peace and Director of the American Friends of Rabin.
